Baseball Gains Invaluable Experience on Road Trip

Cougars Ready to Play Five in a Row at Home

(Davenport, FL) - Men's baseball spent their spring break taking a road trip to Florida to participate in the RussMatt Invitational Tournament. The Cougars played five games during their time down south and enjoyed some time to bond as a team while on the road and while away from the field. Holyoke played against several very strong opponents, gaining invaluable experience that they will carry through the remainder of the season.

The Cougars will play their first five home games of the season, all in a row, beginning with their home opener on Thursday, March 27th.  The game was originally scheduled to be away but Holyoke will now host Roxbury CC with the opening pitch set for 3:30pm. The Cougars will again host Roxbury on Saturday, March 29th in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00pm. Holyoke will host Landmark College on Monday, March 31st and Northern Essex CC on Thursday, April 3rd. Both of those games will begin at 3:30pm.

Men's baseball has a 2-7 overall record. Their first regional games of the season will be the three-game series against Roxbury CC. Holyoke hopes that the experience gained in the early part of the season can propel them to success within the region. Let's go Cougars!
