Men’s Basketball Jumps Right In

Cougars Find Win Amongst Woes

Men's basketball has their campaign rolling, working hard through the first month of the season. The Cougars have fought tenaciously, and were rewarded with a win along the way.

Abdul Hussan (Springfield, MA / Springfield Renaissance) has led the charge for Holyoke, twice registering a double-double (points & rebounds) and twice leading the team in points in a game. Hassan has a 26-point game and a 22-point game this year and currently leads the Cougars in points and rebounds for the season. Tyrone Wolf (Springfield, MA / Pope Francis HS) has been a strong performer in the early season. Wolf had a 20-point game, during which he sank four three-pointers and shot a perfect 6 for 6 from the free throw line.    

Men's basketball is 1-4 overall and in the region. They head into December planning to work even harder than they already have, searching for more victories. Let's go Cougars!
