Cougars Tee Off on 2023 Season

HCC Golf Hits the Course to Open Year

(Chicopee, MA) - Cougars golf took to the course on Tuesday afternoon, opening the 2023 season with an event played at Chicopee Country Club. The occasion was HCC golf's return to competition as Holyoke has not fielded a team since before the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Holyoke looked sharp at the season opening Region XXI (New England) event, scoring well to open the year. The Cougars won the New England Championship in 2019, the last season in which the team participated.

Holyoke will partake in several events throughout the season and are favorites to once again claim the regional title. Let's go Cougars!
